What a great spot! I was in town for business, and it was recommended by one of the locals. Excellent happy hour with a huge variety of cocktails and the usual. 2 oysters were phenomenal! And food was delicious (i had the chicken schnitzel)! Highly recommend!!

A truly great experience! Bar Cart Lounge provided everything we were looking for and MORE! The service was top-notch! Josie took great care of us, made great recommendations, and was a lot of fun to talk to! Brian knows goes to make fantastic Old Fashioneds, and they have a wide variety of bourbons to choose from! They are open until 11:00pm, which is awesome, and to make it even better, they offer their full menu until close, and it’s 1/2 off any drinks from bottles on the wall after 9:00! Great atmosphere, solid music, and the food was incredible! We had several appetizers, including oysters, because it was just too hard to choose, and the Sea Bass as an entree was delicious! I don’t usually get long-winded, but this place is just that good! I look forward to going back, soon! Note: There is free public parking within a block, which is a HUGE bonus!

We were in town for a show and stopped here completely on a whim - we are SO glad we did. The food menu is impressive for such a small spot, and there’s something for everyone on the cocktail menu. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and creativity of both the food and drinks. Service was excellent too despite every table being full on a Friday night!

Came in for a couple of drinks and snacks on our way to temple. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was a hoot and provided great service. I got one of the best NA cocktails I've had from a refreshingly large selection (I'm pregnant and really appreciate that!) and my husband loved his drink. Our snacks were excellent and well priced. It's on the loud side, but not so much as to bother us.

The ambiance here is wonderful! They can make some of the dishes vegan! I’ve done the raspberry crunch salad & the roasted garlic bulb without cheese and they’re great! The drinks are also fantastic.

FANTASTIC! This place is truly awesome. Josie was amazing. She had a great energy, offered excellent suggestions on bourbon selections, appetizers, and entrees, very knowledgeable on their offerings. Brian makes incredible old fashions! I didn’t try the same bourbon twice the whole night! Which was super great when the wall spirits went 1/2 price at 9pm! The energy and environment was just what we were looking for. The food... WHOA. I honestly didn’t know you could still find food this GOOD, for those great prices anymore! It was hard to choose from all the great selections. It is rare, these days, to find a restaurant that is open until 11pm during the week AND serves food until close! That was great! Also, there is a free public parking lot right next door! We will absolutely be returning to this place very soon, and often! I just hope they open more locations so more people can experience all they have to offer! Well done Brian!

Favorite spot in the Twin Cities. Service was excellent, kept my water glass filled the whole time and the kitchen was so quick. Thank you Josie and Bea for a wonderful evening. The citrus arugula salad was perfection and my drink (Angels in the Garden— gin, lavender, etc) was beautifully made. Also had the goat cheese, kale salad, the nachos, and the coconut curried sea bass. Each dish was amazing! Can’t wait to come back here. I Bar Cart and its staff.

Great experience here! The space is nice with some large paintings on the walls, kind of dark inside. We were able to hear each other at our table so not too loud. Server was excellent --friendly, knowledgeable, polite. Answered all our menu questions. Started with loaded hummus, baked feta, and nachos. All were nice but we just loved the baked feta. Entrees were also tasty: smashed double burger, tri tip, shrimp po boy, and chicken schnitzel. Too full for dessert. We'd definitely return!
